Chair

Calum was honoured to be appointed Hearts Youth Development Committee (HYDC) chairman in December 2010. A lifetime Hearts fan, Calum has seen some really great times and one or two not so good times at Hearts. One of the best sights for any fan and in particular members of HYDC is when products of the academy that we have helped to support play for HMFC first team and he intends to continue doing his best for HYDC for many years to come.

    Vice Chair

Ewan joined Hearts Youth Development Committee (HYDC) in December 2010. Having been a Jambo since the day he was born he has been a season ticket holder and is now a Corporate member at Tynecastle. One of the main driving forces in becoming involved with HYDC came from his late father George who was Chairman of HYDC for 9 years. As well as this, he has two young sons who both have a big passion for football and Hearts. This has allowed him an insight into youth football at a very early age. Joint Managing Director of the family business which he joined straight from school a number of years ago, he hopes this experience will assist him well in working together with the committee and continue to build a brighter future for Hearts Youth at Riccarton.

He is also a shareholder, season ticket holder and follows the team home and away including trips abroad. Alex believes very much in the Hearts Youth Academy and the long term benefits it has for Hearts and its youth development policy.
